Between October and March two of our hard courts are covered by our famous “bubble” allowing indoor play during the day and under floodlights.

During the year we hold a number of fun events and competitive tournaments where we welcome members and their guests to join in the fun.

A wide range of group fitness-classes are also available. These take place outside, in or around the pool and on our lawns, or inside the building in our Gym Studio or Main Hall. Every day there are at least two classes to choose from. There’s something for everyone and AAA’s and Gym-U’s can book any classes for FREE!

Non-members are welcome to swim. 

With two indoor, lit and heated squash courts, we have great facilities for Members.

We offer an extensive coaching programme catering for players of all ages and abilities.

Frinton-on-Sea Lawn Tennis Club has a new, purpose built croquet lawn. We are a welcoming croquet club keen to recruit new players.

Our membership covers all ages and abilities. Croquet can be played to a high standard by those who are not as active as they once were!

Away from the Club, James is a broadcaster, columnist and business advisor. He’s one of the regular presenters on Talk, a columnist for the Financial Times and a regular pannelist on The Jeremy Vine Show on Channel 5. Away from broadcast media, James has chaired and been on the Board of a range of property advisory and investment companies with a long career in real estate, banking and private equity. He’s currently the President of the Royal Albert Hall.

Our Clubhouse, Poolside Kitchen and events catering provides options for all dietary requirements, international tastes and seasonal flavours too. We use the freshest ingredients sourced from our local butcher, baker and greengrocers. All prepared and cooked on the premises.
