Despite the best efforts of the British weather, our court refurbishment is powering ahead. Courts F, G and H are now fully completed and open, and the team at NEXGEN are working incredibly hard to get the padel courts installed. Once they are in place, work can move straight on to the pickleball courts, keeping us on track for everything to be up and running by early November.

Please do spread the word among members and non‑members about our new padel memberships and upgrade options, including the one‑off Founders Membership for those who want to be part of the club’s next chapter from day one.

Over the coming weeks, we will also be starting work on the new path leading to the padel courts, which will run behind courts A and B. Alongside this, we are adding extra lighting and security features, and replacing the troublesome halogen lights on courts C to H with new LED fittings. Many of you will have seen Graham hard at work preparing the site, and Jack has been tirelessly developing and testing the padel app behind the scenes.

And while the sporting side of the Club is buzzing, don’t forget our non‑sporting activities. With the weather turning wetter and colder, there’s no better place to spend a cosy afternoon than at the Club enjoying a proper roast dinner. We also have a unique Spanish evening coming up, and Christmas bookings are already rolling in, so do book early to avoid disappointment. Over the next few months we will be introducing new beers on tap, and our refreshed wine list will be circulated soon.

Sports and Services!

Padel Update

Our Padel project is beginning to take shape, with the first major pieces of the puzzle arriving this week.
We had an exciting delivery with the glass arriving for the main structure of our two brand-new Padel courts.
Nexgen are working hard to get everything transported up to the site from the car park.

And if you’ve been down, you’ll notice F, G, H have finished their refurbishment!

And don’t they look and feel great. Court E is also finished; however, it may be used for access to the padel site. So please ensure you are booking your courts to check availability.
