As we head towards the festive season, there is plenty happening around the club.
The new padel courts are getting close to completion, and we are looking forward to welcoming members onto them soon. If you are curious about the game, the club has new padel rackets available to hire, giving you the chance to try before you buy. David will also be stocking padel balls and a range of rackets for purchase. Advanced warning: padel can be quite addictive.
Founder Memberships are still available, offering a £50 saving on the annual membership fee. You can also download the FOSLTC Padel app and be among the first to follow court bookings, events and updates.
With Christmas approaching, don't forget to book your Christmas lunch or party. If you are looking for a gift idea, or perhaps a subtle way to show your club loyalty, we still have a limited number of FOSLTC bobble hats, caps and towels available.
The Squash Club Champs finals day is today! Play starts at 4 pm; more details below.
A final reminder that the AGM will take place on 20 November. Please let Rebecca know if you will be attending, and submit any general questions to Kim by Monday 9 November so they can be considered in advance.
We look forward to seeing you at the club over the coming weeks, whether for tennis, padel, Christmas festivities or the AGM. As always, thank you for your continued support of the club.
